Katarina Šević
Katarina Šević (1979, Novi Sad) is based in Budapest. She integrates diverse strategies of work, questioning the vehicles of design and behavioral patterns in society. Her practice includes performance, video, objects and publications.
She has exhibited internationally (Trafo Gallery, Budapest; Berlin; Apexart, New York; Škuc Gallery, Ljubljana; Salon of the Museum of Contemporary Art, Belgrade; CIC, Cairo; Secession, Vienna; Futura, Prague; Kunsthalle Budapest).
She co-initiated independent art spaces Dinamo and Impex. She co-edited and published books, eg. 'We are not ducks on a pond, but ships at sea; independent art initiatives, Budapest 1989-2009', 'Die Planung' and 'In-between Zones'.
