Maykson Cardoso curatorial performance at Supersimétrica

Under the title “Top-manta #2: ZONA FRANCA”, the actual Encura resident (Hangar Barcelona) will present a curatorial performance as part of his project "Smuggeling as an Alternative" at Supersimétrica, an international encounter of independent project spaces in Madrid.

Cardoso’s concept adds to Lucy Lippard’s “Suitcase Shows”, the idea of smuggling artworks. The action plays with the economic speculation at art fairs.
