The Portable Painting

The history of the portable painting is a long one. Canvases are the opposite of murals or original fresco paintings. However, nowadays, the idea of a portable painting has other meanings that, for me, go beyond this original physical capacity to be transported. It is a pretext for expressing other things. I wanted my portable paintings to symbolize this new approach, and to take advantage of the concept of such products by creating something that is transportable, easy to store, and something that my peers could own.
