Threshold Study III
by Zoé T. Vizcaíno
A stone violently burst onto the scene and causes the accident: the implosion – an act of breaking inwards-. The quietude and stillness are interrupted and a hole serves to threaten the landscape. The viewer witness a sudden explosion; an ephemeral almost sculptural creation that arises and fall, the threshold and its result: the temporary destruction of the representation and its subsequent reconstruction, permanently.
Threshold III consist of five pieces, each one, 3 minutes 33 seconds long. All of them were shot in 16 mm film.
