The installation was composed of 16 handmade replicas of press releases from exhibitions that took place in London – the city where I was living during the preparation of my show.
The texts of the selected press releases referred, amongst other issues, to ideas of intellectual and manual labour, artistic value, the artwork as a commodity, originality and authorship.
The show was accompanied by a text, as the press release of my exhibition, distributed via Internet and as a photocopy in the gallery, composed in its entirety by fragments of text in the selected press releases.
