Let us be known; let us be seen, and let us shine
by hablarenarte
Between June 27 and July 28, 2013 Curators' Network celebrated a three week long event at Intermediae, Matadero Madrid. The theme chosen for this occasion, “Let us be known; let us be seen, and let us shine”, reflected on the experience generated during the first three years of the network. The multiple activities aimed building a bridge between our past and future projects.
Curators‘ Network gave this event an eminently international focus, inviting both curators and artists who have participated in the various meetings of Curators’ Network, cultural agents who are interested in an international collaboration. The activities were divided in two sections: The members of Austria, Hungary, Poland and Romania issued three curated projects that revolved with exhibitions, workshops and performances around the main theme. On the other hand, hablarenarte: organized three conferences, several panel talks, round tables and open discussions around the general issues. Althogether the partners curated video-capsules that are shown at an Open Air Cinema.
