Manuela Pedrón Nicolau & Jaime González Cela

Jaime González Cela and Manuela Pedrón Nicolau are independent curators and educators. Their work as a collective is focused on the research on mediation processes within the curatorial practice and the ability of contemporary art to create narratives in order to explore political and social contexts. They have curated exhibitions at CaixaForum Barcelona, the Spanish National Library Museum and Tabacalera in Madrid, among others. As a curatorial team they have also received curatorial fellowships at the Spanish Academy in Rome (2015-16), Hangar Barcelona (2016) and Centro Huarte, Pamplona (2020). Currently they run CRÁTER a public program at Sala de Arte Joven, VENECIA a reading club at La Casa Encendida and they curate the online exhibition The Great Conspiracy.
